Jim Moore - President & Principal Broker
Jim was born & raised in Lexington and grew up just outside of town on his family's dairy & beef cattle farm. His ancestors settled in Rockbridge County before 1750, and his family has lived here continually since then. With his wife Jeri, a real estate agent with his firm, and son Will, a student at W&L, Jim enjoys outdoor recreation, traveling and farming. Jim has been full-time in the real estate business since 1974, and established his own firm in 1988. He knows the market and takes great pride in his work. His boundless energy and enthusiasm as a broker is why clients choose him to work for them, whether buying or selling property. He prides himself on building long-term relationships with his clients, and many of his closest friends today, from far and near, got to know him when he was their real estate agent. Jim's experience includes successfully marketing land, farms, commercial & residential properties throughout the Shenandoah Valley and Western Virginia. A consistent producer of multi-million dollar sales volume, he is affiliated with a network of Associates throughout Virginia and the United States. Jim has also been active in his community, having served on the Board of Directors of the Lexington-Rockbridge Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the United Way Campaign, Charter member of Lexington Downtown Development Association, President of the Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees, New Monmouth Presbyterian Church Trustee, President of LBVR Association of Realtors & President of the Virginia REALTOR'S Land Institute. In 1989 Jim was recognized as Virginia Land Broker of the Year. 

Jeri G. Moore, GRI — Residential Specialist
Jeri Moore was born in Loris, South Carolina, and has resided in Lexington, Virginia for more than 40 years. Jeri has been a full time Residential Specialist since 1993. Jeri holds the Graduate, REALTOR’S Institute (GRI)designation, which she obtained by attending 90 hours of classroom instruction. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and a member of New Monmouth Presbyterian Church.
She has 15 years of full time experience in the real estate business and has the continual pleasure of working along side her husband, James Wm. Moore, President and Principal Broker of James Wm. Moore Real Estate Co. Jeri enjoys working in real estate because of her client interaction.

Dennis R. Dixon—Associate Broker
Born and raised in Lexington, VA, Dennis Dixon has spent over 50 years familiarizing himself with this beautiful area. After graduating from Bridgewater College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, he subsequently began a career as a second generation real estate broker. He has over 30 years of real estate experience having operated Dixon Realty specializing in marketing and appraising until 2003. Dennis was a past President of the Lexington, Rockbridge, Buena Vista Association of Realtors, is currently a member of the Ruritan Club, and an elder at Lexington Presbyterian church. Currently, Dennis has been an Associate Broker with James Wm. Moore Real Estate Co. since 2003, and specializes in the brokerage of residential, farm and land properties.

Hunter D. McClung — Sales Associate
Hunter McClung was born and raised on a livestock farm in Rockbridge County, Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western State College, in Gunnison, Colorado, with an emphasis in business administration. Since graduation, Hunter has over ten years of full time professional real estate experience. He was a Fee Appraiser and worked in Real Estate Assessment prior to becoming a Sales Associate with James Wm. Moore Real Estate Co. Having grown up on the land has given Hunter an exceptional feel for land and all that goes with it. In addition to his professional experiences, Hunter is avid horse enthusiast who for four years enjoyed the duties of ranch management in Colorado. He lives on his own Rockbridge County farm with his wife and son. We are very proud to have Hunter McClung as part of the family here at James Wm. Moore Real Estate Co.

Glenn V. Parks, ALC — Sales Associate
Glenn was born in Washington, DC & raised in Fairfax County, VA. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Morehead State University in Kentucky, & received his Masters degree in Social Sciences at the University of Virginia. Glenn immediately used his degrees to give back to the educational system, serving as a Secondary school teacher, football coach, & basketball coach for 33 years. Glenn began using his skills to service the public in 1999 and is now in his 9th year as a sales associate at James Wm. Moore Real Estate Co. Glenn has obtained the coveted “Accredited Land Consultant (ALC)” designation, which is awarded by the National REALTOR’S Land Institute only to those members who have completed a comprehensive educational program & services for the Institute. ALC’s are nationally recognized experts in Land Brokerage. Glenn is a Past President of the Virginia REALTOR'S Land Institute (RLI) & is a National Certified Instructor of RLI's Land 101 Course. Glenn & his wife, Cathy, reside in Fairfield.

Jeffrey C. Wilson - Associate Broker
Jeff is originally from Easton, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland at College Park, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology in 1987. After graduating, Jeff began a successful fourteen-year career as an Industrial Engineer with Whitman Corporation and later Western Publishing Company. In 1999, he and his wife Murphy came to Virginia on a holiday trip. They fell in love with the area and soon after purchased a second home in Bath County. In 2001, after earning real estate licenses in Maryland and Virginia, Jeff began working for Long & Foster Real Estate in Bethesda, Maryland. He was pleased with their professionalism and the training opportunities, but he did not like working in the city. In May 2002, Jeff decided to move south and joined the team at James Wm. Moore Real Estate, Co. as their Bath County sales representative. In 2006, Jeff completed his Broker’s license requirements and he is currently working as an Associate Broker. He specializes in the sale of homes and undeveloped land in Bath and Highland counties and frequently works as a Buyer’s Agent in the Rockbridge County market as well.

Teri L. Bradley – Office Manager
Teri was born and raised in the small town of Glasgow in Rockbridge County, VA. She has had retail experience as an Assistant Manager at A&N and banking experience as a teller at the Bank of Botetourt. We are extremely proud to say she is a part of the James Wm Moore Real Estate Co. family.

Emily S. Reel - Property Manager
Emily was born and raised on a farm in Mooresville, IN. She graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics. She lived in Maryland for 8 years, before moving to Lexington, VA with her family in 1986. Emily owned a woman's fashion and wardrobe consulting business for 17 years before starting her career in Real Estate with James Wm. Moore Real Estate Co. She manages the Property Management Division and handles listings and sales.
